Interregional cooperation

The third section of this chapter looks in detail at interregional cooperation programs (also known as “Interreg VI C” programs).

These programs aim to strengthen the effectiveness of cohesion policy by promoting the exchange of experience and good practice throughout Europe in certain thematic areas, including in particular urban development (URBACT), regional development (Interreg Europe), territorial development (ESPON) and territorial cooperation (INTERACT).

We invite you to consult the first page of this section for a better understanding of the logic followed in the analysis of cooperative programs.
