We recently reported that some of the deadlines for European projects in the coming months may be postponed due to the ongoing health crisis: These operational restrictions apply not only to EU project designers and applicant organizations but also to the European Commission’s services, which may face difficulties and delays in handling user requests and updating relevant information.

The European Commission’s calls for proposals portal itself currently includes the following disclaimer : Please note that due to measures related to the COVID-19 outbreak, our IT Helpdesk is operating remotely under non-standard conditions, which may result in some processing delays.
A similar note is shown on the homepage of the Infobandi service to which our Guide refers, which highlights (where possible) changes in call deadlines.
Many of the deadlines mentioned in our previous post on this topic have been postponed.
Similarly, the deadlines for many recent and interesting calls for proposals under the Justice Program have been extended: combating violence, combating discrimination, combating gender inequality, combating manifestations of hate and intolerance, rights related to European citizenship, and the protection of victims and suspects of crimes. Currently, the deadline for all of these calls for proposals is April 15. The deadline for the call for proposals on capacity building in the area of child protection is later (May 13).
We would also like to highlight two interesting calls for proposals under Creative Europe: one for support for film festivals (deadline: April 23) and one for support for co-creation and co-production in the music sector (deadline: April 30).
Of particular note is the call for the 2020 European Health Prize, dedicated to the topic of vaccination and healthy lifestyles (deadline April 29) and in general the 2020 calls of the Health Program (deadline June 3).
