Here is a review of the March news, posted as always on our Announcement Portal.

In April we identified a total of 139 new calls. The main news of the month is the opening of the LIFE Program calls, with dedicated Infodays on May 12 and 13.

In addition to LIFE, for European programs, there are numerous calls open (of which many cascade funding) for Digital Europe, and there is some news for the Single Market Program, Creative Europe and CERV. Although fewer in number, there is also news on structural and rural funds.

LIFE 2026: the new calls and Infodays

The main news of the month is the opening of the LIFE Program’s 2026 calls: here the set of calls on the Funding&Tenders portal and the CINEA agency website.

LIFE, the European program dedicated to the environment, nature conservation and climate change, is organized into four subprograms:

“Environment” sector: “Nature and Biodiversity” (LIFE NAT) and “Circular Economy and Quality of Life” (LIFE ENV);

Climate Action Sector:Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation(LIFE CLIMA) andClean Energy Transition(LIFE CET).

On Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13, the LIFE Info Days Italy 2026, organized by the National Contact Point of the LIFE 2021-2027 Program (LIFE NCP IT), will take place online at Teams.

During the Infodays, it will be possible to ask questions (via the Slido Platform) to all speakers at the event.

Structural Funds

There is also a call within the Capacity for Cohesion Program for territorial experts, a call from the School and Skills Program regarding digitization, and a nationally directed call from the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund for the labor inclusion of migrant women.

Rural Funds

In March, 30 new notices were published in 8 regions. In Emilia Romagna 2 calls on agricultural competitiveness, resilient orchards, establishment of young farmers; in Liguria 1 call on livestock farming; in Lombardy 5 new calls on wetlands, forestation, agroforestry systems, prevention of damage from natural disasters and climatic events; in Marche 3 calls on mountain areas, tourism and typical products, agrobiodiversity; in P.A of Trent 5 calls on mountain areas, meadow and pasture management, biodiversity, organic production; in Piedmont 10 new calls on arboriculture, forestry systems, quality schemes, mountain areas, organic farming, pig breeders; in Tuscany 1 call for young farmers; in Umbria 3 new calls for maintenance and income loss.

Other updates

We have updated the deadline of 13 calls, mainly in the rural area.
